We're excited to have him join the Patriot family! Be sure to give Mr. Silva a warm TMS welcome in the comments!

At Tavares Middle, we're excited to share how PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is making our school a better place for every student!
How YOU Can Help: Consider supporting our program by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List! Your donations help stock our school store and make rewards even more meaningful for our students. 💚 Link --> Our Wish List
Here's what PBIS means for your child:
✅ Clear Expectations — Students know exactly what positive behavior looks like in every setting (classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, buses)
✅ Recognition & Rewards — When students make good choices, they earn 'Star Bucks' to spend at our school store! It's a fun, tangible way to celebrate their success.
✅ Special Events — We regularly host events to recognize students who make positive choices and contribute to our school community.
✅ Supportive Environment — PBIS helps us create a school where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to do their best.
The Bottom Line: Instead of just focusing on what students do wrong, PBIS teaches and celebrates what they do right. When students feel recognized and supported, they thrive! 🌟
