This past week, we celebrated Custodial Appreciation Day at Tavares Middle School! 🎉 Huge thanks to our incredible custodial staff who keep our school clean and welcoming every day! 🌟
🌟📘 October is National Principals Month, and today we celebrate the outstanding principals leading our middle schools and K–8 schools!
Whether they are guiding students through the excitement and challenges of middle school or supporting learners from their very first days in kindergarten all the way through 8th grade, these principals are building strong bridges to the future. Their leadership helps students grow academically, socially, and emotionally during some of the most important years of development. To our Lake County Schools middle and K–8 principals: thank you for your dedication, vision, and commitment to helping every student thrive. 💙

✨ It's a fantastic time to be a Tavares Middle School Patriot! 🦅💙 Our athletes are rocking it in volleyball, flag football, cheerleading, and cross-country! Let’s cheer them on and celebrate our school spirit!
What an inspiring day in AVID! 😊 Tavares PD and Tavares CSI came to share their knowledge and experiences with our students. 🚓✨ Their presentations opened up discussions about the important role law enforcement plays in our community.
Tavares Middle School families! We're hosting an Athlete/Parent Interest Meeting for Boys and Girls Basketball on Wednesday, October 22, at 5:30 PM in the TMS Cafeteria. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our basketball program, meet the coaches, and ask any questions you may have! 🏀✨

Yesterday was an incredible day at the Tavares High School Homecoming Parade! 💙 ❤️ Proud to show off our school spirit alongside our amazing community!
When a student misses so many days that they are chronically absent (10% or more days) it means the lack of engagement in learning is an ongoing problem that needs to be addressed. Chronic absence affects all kids, not just the absent ones. #HereTodayReadyforTomorrow
