⭐️ DIT and Culinary students worked together on a restaurant project. DIT created restaurant menus and culinary students voted on the best menu from each class. Culinary then cooked a dish from each winning menu design. This came together in a fun “restaurant” picnic! 🍽️

Type 1 diabetes is a lifelong autoimmune condition causing the destruction of the cells in the pancreas that make insulin. This means the body can’t control blood sugar (glucose) on its own. Without management of high blood glucose levels, over time it can lead to serious and life-threatening health complications. Click here to learn about screening your child for this condition: https://www.floridahealth.gov/diseases-and-conditions/diabetes/_documents/diabetes-type1-parent-guide.pdf
