Who is eligible for a retake?
-Students who were absent on the original picture day (9/3)
-Students who enrolled at TMS after 9/3
-Students who are unhappy with their initial picture

In 2018 and 2022, Lake County voters approved a 0.75-mill tax dedicated to essential school safety and mental health resources. A referendum, which will be on the November 3 ballot, asks voters to CONTINUE that support, which pays for School Resource Deputies and Officers, School Safety Guardians, alternative educational programs, and mental health professionals such as school psychologists, social workers, and mental health liaisons, who are trained to address challenges early, alongside a qualified nurse stationed on every district campus.
Voters will not only have the opportunity to continue critical school safety and mental health support but, through a proposed additional 0.25 mills, they may also choose to give the school district much-needed funding to help retain and recruit high-quality teachers through competitive compensation.

🚌💙Our Tavares Middle School volleyball team took a moment to show some love to the amazing bus drivers who get us safely to and from school every day! The players held up signs with words of encouragement and gratitude, and the drivers showed their appreciation right back with some enthusiastic honks!

Thanks to their fundraising efforts, 20 students right here on our campus received brand-new backpacks filled with school supplies to help them succeed throughout the year.
Programs like Adopt-A-Family make a real difference in the lives of our students, and we couldn't do it without community partners like the Lions Club.
